THE POST – Registry Systems Developer – REQ002018
Working within the Registry Systems Team, you will deliver technical expertise to continually improve, develop and support the core systems which support the Student Experience. You will work to ensure the core system (Ellucian Banner) is working as expected, is fit for purpose, and maintained through upgrades and regular business. This ensures delivery of core services including Admissions, Enrolment, Progressions, Change of Decisions, Graduations, etc. Where the baseline product requires modification to meet the needs of UWS, you will work closely with colleagues within Registry and the wider University to build solutions, test and implement custom code.
As a Registry Systems Developer, you will work in a constantly evolving environment. You will create, maintain, audit, and improve systems to meet needs, often as advised by the Senior Registry Digital Manager and Head of Registry. You will test software systems to diagnose and resolve system faults. You will be the expert in your field and make recommendations for future developments and transformations of the tools and systems in use.
