G7 Summit concludes today

The three-day-long G7 Summit will conclude in Italy on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi joined the G7 Summit on Friday and interacted with several global leaders in the sidelines. While addressing the G7 Outreach session in the summit, PM Modi spoke on a range of issues including artificial intelligence, net zero, and Global South.

Highlighting the need to focus on the development of technology that can prove to be a double-edged sword, PM Modi said, “Together we should make efforts to make coming time a ‘Green Era.” 

Global Peace Summit on Ukraine

As Russia’s war against the Ukraine is nowhere to end, several global leaders are set to join the Global Peace Summit on Ukraine on June 15. The Ukraine Peace Summit will be held on June 15 and June 16, where users will attempt to chart a roadmap for brining peace to Ukraine. The Indian delegation at the summit is expected to be headed by a senior diplomat.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for sending a high-level delegation to the conclave, during his G7 summit.
