Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Najam Sethi said that the digital ratings of PSL 2023 were higher than lucrative IPL. The video of his claim went viral on social media. However, cricket fans were quick to react to the same and trolled the PCB chief for his remarks.

PSL 2023 concluded on March 18. This time, the tournament did get some popularity. Moreover, many Pakistan players also compared it with Indian Premier League, calling PSL better than IPL. The PSL vs IPL debate has always drawn the attention of many cricket fans and players.

PSL 2023 Digital Ratings Were Highest Than IPL: Najam Sethi

Cricket Pakistan shared a video of PCB chief Najam Sethi on their official Twitter account. In the video, Najam Sethi can be seen talking about the success of PSL 2023. He also mentioned that PSL 2023 digital ratings were higher than IPL.

PSL 2023 has concluded and IPL 2023 is set to commence on March 31. Meanwhile, PSL 2023 concluded on March 18 as Lahore Qalandars were crowned as the champions after defeating Multan Sultans. The PSL 2023 final was a thrilling clash in which Qalandars won by just 1 run in the end.

Batting first, Shaheen Afridi-led Lahore piled up a gigantic total of 200-6 in 1st innings. Abdullah Shafique (65 off 40) and Shaheen Afridi (44 off 15) played crucial knocks for the team. Later, Rilee Rossouw (52) and Mohammad Rizwan (34) managed to give a decent start to Multan Sultans. However, they could only reach 199-8 till the final ball, losing by just 1 run.
