Kenya Power‘s latest announcement has confirmed that the electricity outage in the African country is expected to continue on Tuesday. The company has planned maintenance in several parts of the nation and due to this residents of at least seven counties might face power cuts, plunging their homes into darkness. The latest directive by KPLC is going to have its impact felt in parts of Kajiado, Baringo, Nyandarua, Nzoia, Kysii, Nyeri, and Kiambi counties.
Among the counties expected to face the electricity outage, Nyeri and Kiambi counties’ power outages are going to continue for Tuesday as well. The power outage in the areas will start immediately after 9 am and it will continue to be around till 4;30 to 5:00 pm, per local time, across different areas.
“The following areas will be affected by planned maintenance tomorrow,” Kenya Power wrote on X, with the list of counties. Among the counties affected, detailed area-wise information about the electricity was shared by the company through its official social media handles.
