Westminster Dog Show 2024 live updates: Breed results, Best in Show, ring schedule

Before the end of the night, a new Best in Show will be crowned.

The 148th Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show will conclude Tuesday night, culminating with the coveted top prize that selects a winner from the champions in the seven groups – Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding.

Four of the seven group winners have already been decided with Louis the Afghan Hound winning the Hound Group, Mercedes the German Shepherd winning the Herding Group, Sage the Miniature Poodle winning the Non-Sporting Group and Comet the Shih Tzu winning the Toy Group.

The Westminster Dog Show is taking place at the at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York.

Here are the latest developments during the final night of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show:

The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show concludes Tuesday night and will run from 7:30 p.m. ET until 11:00 p.m. The event will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 1.

Prior to Best in Show judging, which will take place at the end of the event, the Sporting, Working and Terrier Groups will judged. 

Dogs are divided into seven different groups: Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, Non-Sporting and Herding. 

  • Hound Group: Louis (Afghan Hound) 
  • Herding Group: Mercedes (German Shepherd) 
  • Non-Sporting Group: Sage (Miniature Poodle) 
  • Toy Group: Comet (Shih Tzu)
